For your convenience, we have several payment options available to you.

  • We have provided a drop-box at the Steamboat’s City Market, 1825 Central Park Plaza for payments. The payment box is inside and to the left near the customer service window.
  • Payments can be made at our office at 3310 Clear Water Trail with cash, check, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover Card) or money order.
  • Payments can also be mailed to P.O. Box 880339, Steamboat Springs, CO 80488 in the envelope enclosed with your utility bill.

Our online bill payment option saves you time and gives you more flexibility on how you pay your bill. Click here to sign up for Xpress Bill Pay. You will need your customer account number from your statement.

  1. Click on “Create a free account.” Once you’ve signed up with Xpress Bill Pay, you can log in with your e-mail address and password.
  2. Follow the instructions on the screen. When you’ve submitted your information, you will receive a default password by e-mail.
  3. Go back to https://www.xpressbillpay.com/portal/?refer=10205 and log in using your e-mail address and password. The “Add e-Bills” page appears. Follow the instructions on the screens to add us to your Xpress Bill Pay account.

Once you’ve created an account, you’ll be able to go online at any time to view and pay your bills.


Here is another fast and convenient way for you to pay your bills 24/7, no computer necessary! Simply call toll-free 855-977-1414.

The IVR (Interactive Voice Response) system provides you with a complete bill payment system over the phone. You can pay your bills anytime, anywhere. All you need is a phone.

How does it work? Dial the toll-free number 855-977-1414 and provide your account number and zip code to locate your bill. The IVR system will tell you your account balance, the payment due date, and then guide you to make your payment using a credit card, debit card, or e-Check. You are provided with a confirmation number and notified whether the transaction was successful or not. At the end of the call, you have the option to set up Auto Pay. (this is a free service to Mount Werner Water customers)

Additionally, you may call the payment center (800-720-6847) and make payments over the phone with a live operator. Both the IVR system and our payment center offer service in English and Spanish. (Note:  Spanish service hours vary.) If you have questions about IVR, call Xpress Bill Pay at 800-766-2350. Xpress Bill Pay is the online payment portal for the Mount Werner Water District.
